Morgan & Eric were married at Salem United Methodist in Ballentine with reception at Harmon’s Tree Farm in Lexington.  Here’s a few words from the bride on what made her day so special-

I always knew I wanted to get married at Salem United Methodist Church.  The three generations are very important to us and that church has a lot of family history. I know the land that the church is on was donated by someone in the family way back when and also the lumber to build was supplied by the family’s lumber mill.  But that’s not the important part.  Back to my grandma (Mema), my mom, and me… we were all three baptized there.  Even though I was born and raised in Florida, my parents took me to SC just to get baptized at Salem so that the tradition could continue.  My Mema was also married at Salem, and I have admired her wedding pictures for a long time. So as soon as Eric and I got engaged, I knew right where we would be getting married!

The couple drove to the reception in a vintage 1930’s Model A Ford is owned by Ann Lyons (contact for booking info).  The bride said,

Riding across the Lake Murray dam was probably one of my most favorite parts of the day!
